Paragon Public School is a home away from home for the students. The inspiring and motivating environment of the school helps the child acquire not only academic excellence but also a compassionate and poised disposition. Measures are taken to bring out the full potential of the child and inculcate a strong sense of values. The school gives ample opportunities to its students to develop their personality and leadership traits and at the same time keep them rooted in their culture and traditions.
As dawn breaks, our young residential paragonites rise to the sound of the bell. Washed and scrubbed, it is time for a half-hour of a fitness program and then Dresses Inspection by the wardens and Prefects and on to a nourishing breakfast.
A short walk after tuition takes our students to the assembly ground at 8:30, where the morning assembly, conducted by the Principal, the Faculty, or the students, sets the tone for the school day. Thereafter, our young scholars attend classes and absorb theorems and theories, work for their hands with practical’s, and their minds with humanities and languages. A lunch break comes at Recess around mid-morning for classes V-VIII at first and then IX-X. The students who take their lunch in school rush out to Central Dining Hall and enjoy HEALTHY Lunch cooked by our professional chefs and those who bring their lunch from home sit at class and enjoy their tiffin. With a break for a wholesome lunch in the Central Dining Hall, the afternoon hours, again depending upon the season of the year, see more classes and a rest period in the dormitory at 3:15.
The late afternoon is filled with the cheerful voices of the students and sounds of whistles as our bright scholars change gear into champion athletes. The range of activities in some stunning playfields develops skills and fitness and bonding and sportsmanship. Physically exercised and mentally invigorated, the young Paragonited will now shower and change into school trousers.
They head to the basketball court, music club, dance classes, badminton Court, table tennis training, martial art classes with the call from Hostel Warden.
The recreational hour is followed by Evening Prep’ where the Paragonites again turn to their books before the Evening Dinner. After dinner is about half an hour of fun-time, where paragonites chat or play indoor games or tune in to music or watch the television in their common rooms. A half an hour of Night Prep’ follows. Then comes the time for lights out and a deep night’s sleep in the restful silence of the Paragon premises.
Saturdays may catch the young scholars enjoying a movie in the auditorium Hall or go for some excursion. They might get some surprise outings. The range of activities in The Paragon School is vast and varied, and this description provides but a flavor.
